I've been teaching for eighteen years in the WRSD. My first six years
was as a fifth grade teacher at Dawson School. I then worked at Mayo School
as a fifth grade teacher for 1 year while Dawson was undergoing rennovations.
I was then selected by the superintendent to work as a technology
integration specialist for two years, working in all the schools. I have
now been at Mountview as a life science teacher for the past nine years.
I have a BS in wildife management with a minor in botany. I also have a
Masters in elementary education and middle school science.
In 1998 I was selected as one of four Massachusetts Milken Educators. If
you'd like to learn more about the Milken Family Foundation, please visit:

You are here to get what you need. Think about it. You need to learn about
science and living things in order to understand how the organisms in the
world affect all of us and how we are all inter-related and dependent upon
each other. So, you need to get as much from this class as possible. That
means: getting extra help when you need it, asking questions when you have
them, participating when needed so you can learn better and being here as
much as you can, because you aren't going to learn much being at home. Get
the most out of this class as you can. You have more to do with that than I.
