Mr. Champlin grew up in Holden, went to middle shool in Holden, and 
continues to live in Holden today with his wife and children. Mr. Champlin 
has successfully transitioned from the corporate world to the field of 
education. He enjoys his family, warm days, sports, his dog and fishing! Mr. 
Champlin 
can often be seen jogging the streets of Holden (but not as fast as Mrs. 
Neilan!)

CLASS MISSION STATEMENT

To teach middle school students to understand, respect, and enjoy their 
world, while appreciating its wonders. The hope is that through this class, 
their world not only becomes smaller, but more real to them as well...It is 
also the intent of the teacher to instill the joy of learning in the hearts 
and minds of the Mountview Middle School students!
