I will expect students to study the vocab list every day for at least 5
minutes. Studying the vocab will be in addition to the assigned homework
Homework due Tuesday, Oct. 20: worksheet on possessive adjectives
Homework due Wednesday, Oct. 21: write six sentences using possessive
adjectives. Please use six different subject pronouns (the six different
persons) and an appropriate possessive adjective. Each sentence will include
a subject, verb, possessive adjective, and at least one other object.
Homework due Thursday: Quiz on family members, the verb ALLER, and possessive
adjectives.
Homework due Friday: Worksheet page 65 Les vĂȘtements. Complete the sheet
using the vocabulary sheet for chapter 7, which was distributed in class and
is available on my web page (handouts to print). Do NOT forget to include
appropriate articles (le, la, les).
Homework due Monday, Oct. 26: Worksheet page 18. Regular adjectives. Complete
the top 10 fill in the blanks and also the bottom 5 questions. Do not
complete the middle section.
Homework due Tuesday, Oct. 27: Mini poster using clothing vocabulary,
articles (le, la, les), and adjectives (colors work great!). See homework to
print for guidelines.
Homework due Wednesday, Oct. 28: Write six sentences using the verb METTRE
and CLOTHING vocabulary from the chapter 7 vocab list.
- use six different person subjects (je; tu; il, elle, on OR use a
noun like "ma mere"; nous; vous; ils, elles OR use a plural noun like "mes
amis")
- make sure your verb form of METTRE matches your subject
- use articles with items of clothing from the list

Due Monday, Nov. 2: Worksheet page 69. Top section only.
Note for the week: Whichever class has French first period will need to
complete the reading, Les repas en France, handed out in class, and write out
the answers to the questions in complete sentences. This assignment will
apply to only that class which has French first each day until next Monday,
Nov. 9
Other classes have no homework due Tuesday.
Due Wednesday, Nov. 4: Flashcards of 16 words which we identified in class.
The words are:

Due Friday, Nov. 6: Complete worksheet page 67. Use the chapter 7 vocabulary
list. Answer the questions in complete sentences.
By Tuesday, Nov. 10, all students should have made flashcards of the second
set of 16 vocabulary (clothing) words, and should have completed worksheet
page 67.
Due Monday, Nov. 9: most classes have flashcards. Some classes have worksheet
page 67.
Due Tuesday, Nov. 10: Using the handout from class or available on my
handouts to print page ( Comparative adjectives), complete worksheet page 70.
