What should I do if I was absent?

Upon your return you should check the daily bins for any paperwork that you
might have missed. You should then check with the teacher to find out if
there is anything else you need to know. The teacher will not be seeking
you
out to give you the information.

Will I have extra time to do assignments that I missed while I was absent?

Yes. You will have the same number of days to make up your work as the
number of days you were out. For example, if you are sick for 2 days, you
will have 2 days to complete any work you missed.

Will assingments be accepted late.

Yes, but with penalty. I will accept an assignment one day late for 50%
credit. The only exception to this is an absence.

Can I get extra help?

Absolutely! I am available almost every morning at 7:30 am, every activity
period, and most afternoons (except for soccer season). I do ask however
that you let me know that you are coming just in case there is a conflict.

Do you give extra credit?

No. Every once in awhile the entire class may be given the opportunity to
earn some extra points, but extra credit is not given out on an individual
basis.

What can I do to be successful in science?

Practice what you learn everyday. When you go home take an extra ten
minutes every day to teach someone in your family what you learned that
day. Also, do all of your assignments and ask questions as soon as you
don't understand something. I bet someone else in the class has the same
exact question as you.
