P.E. Make-Ups
Make-up classes will be held :
Monday, May 19th at 3pm
Tuesday, May 20th at 3pm
Students may attend one or both sessions in order to receive credit prior to
progress reports (5/23). There will be another set of make-up classes later
in the quarter before 4th term grades close. Be sure to bring appropriate
P.E. attire to make-ups. Late bus services will available as usual.

Mr. Clark's classes (T/F, W/Th): Basketball Team Sportfolios will be due on
Friday, March 7th. "Sport-folio Managers", please make sure all assignments
have been completed prior to this date.

February 8, 2008
Ms. Linker's classes have a Dance Skills Test next week. Study guides were
handed out in class. They may also be found on the "Downloadables" section
of this website. Students should be able to perfom one of the dances taught
by Ms. Linker or Mr. LeBlanc. The "Cotton Eye Joe" is not a choice for this
test.
Dance Skills Test Dates -
Mon./Wed. classes - February 13
Thurs./Fri. classes - February 14
**If a student is absent on the day of the Dance Skills Test or knows they
will miss school due to early vacation, they must see Ms. Linker during an
Activity Period or after school to complete the test prior to the start of
February Vacation.

Make-up classes:
There will be make-up classes Jan. 23 & 24 before school (7:15 to 7:45am).
Also, students may come to Fitness Club, Mon. through Thurs. after school
(3:00 to 4:00pm) to receive credit for missed classes. Please inform your
teacher if interested. Late bus will be offered as always.
We are officially inside until further notice. There may be an opportunity
to enjoy some snowshoeing during the winter, but students will be informed
prior to those classes so they may bring the appropriate clothing.

Make-up classes will be offered during the week of Nov. 5th. Sessions will
take place on:
1. Tuesday Nov 6th during Activity Period (11:00-11:38am)as well as after
school(3:00-3:45)
2. Wednesday Nov. 7th before school (7:15 - 8:00)
3. Thursday Nov. 8th during Activity Period (11:00 - 11:38am)as well as after
school (3:00 - 3:45).
*Students should sign up in the gymnasium prior to make-up session dates.*

"Intent to Apply Letters" are available and due by Friday, Oct. 19th.
Choose one of the following selection processes: "I prefer to interview"
or "I prefer to fill-out an application (due by Wednesday, Oct. 26th)" on
the document. Please return all completed letters to your teacher- Ms.
Linker or Mr. Clark.

Welcome to Mountview Physical Education!
The first few classess will include discussion of the course requirements
and rules as well as some fun initiative games. Both parents/guardians and
students should review the course syllabus (handout given in class - or you
may find it in the downloadables section of this website).
Homework
The last page of the syllabus must be filled out by the student and signed
by the parent/guardian. The form must be turned in to their physical
education teacher during the week of Sept. 10 - 14th. It counts as a
homework grade.
