My interests include reading and travel, among other things, lots of
travel!! Not only have I been on four continents (approx. 18 countries), but I
lived in the Republic of Singapore for over two years and have friends all
over the world. My most recent trip was during the summer of 2007 to Norway
with a return visit to my favorite city, Munich, Germany on my way home.
I have flags on my desk to represent each country where I have visited or
lived. Check out the flags when you come to class!
I have also raised 2 wonderful sons. Ryan, my older son, just moved to
Portland, ME after spending several years in Washington, D.C.
Kyle, who recently served 5 years with the U.S. Navy, just graduated from the
University of Massachusetts/Boston. He currently lives near Boston.
Meanwhile, Pepita, my dog, and I just continue our busy lives.

To have fun while we learn. I take my teaching seriously and expect my
students to take the subject seriously. But since I believe learning should be
fun, expect to see smiles in my class.
