FAQ
If I am taking this class for pass/fail, what are the requirements for passing Passing art requires all students to have a sketchbook in which to compile library, internet and classroom research on artists they like and admire. Students are also required to collect names and short bios on these artists for reference. The research is to be used to inform student work as to how the artists are applying design elements and principles. All students in art should be actively engaged in studio work and create a series of finished work throughout the year. Students are also required to be responsible for the materials and thier behavior in class. How am I graded if I am taking this class for credit ? All students who are taking art for a letter grade need to complete the series of assignments as well as a full and comprehensive sketchbook. Sketchbook art and related artist research should be used to inform a student art work. Students need to present their ideas and artists to the teacher before starting on their projects. Students are also required to be responsible for the materials and thier behavior in class. |
