Art Educator

Mrs. Quinn has taught at Naquag Elementary School since 2005. She has many 
years teaching students art in both public schools and privately. Students 
in grades 1-5 meet with with Mrs. Quinn every third week for forty-five 
minute classes. The next two weeks, the students see Mrs. Gough for music 
and Mr. Jacobs for Physical Education.

Mission For The Class

It is great having an art room this year! Everyone seems to be enjoying 
working in this wonderful space with large work tables and plenty of storage 
and light. 

In the Visual Art program students are encouraged to explore, express 
themselves and master basic art skills, concepts and vocabulary. Students 
have been busy studying the elements of art, line, shape, color, texture, 
value and form.
