About The Teacher
I am a Rutland resident who loves this community and all that it has to offer families and children. My husband and I raised two children here. They attended Naquag Elementary and Wachusett Regional High School. The education they received here was top notch! I was a stay at home mom until I returned to college when my youngest was in fifth grade. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2003 and just graduated last May with a Master's of Elementary Education with a concentration on literacy. Third grade is a terrific grade to teach. The kids are generally kind, caring, and so eager to learn. The curriculum is challenging and engaging. Each day in school brings new rewards for me and my students. My classroom is a place where the students are encouraged to be themselves and enjoy learning.
