Below is a description of each level of Math SAT II for those students choosing to take the SAT II. Mathematics Level IC: The Mathematics Level IC test is designed to assess your understanding of the mathematics commonly taught in American high schools in three years of college preparatory mathematics (two years of algebra and one year of geometry). The test requires knowledge of algebra, geometry (plane Euclidean, coordinate, three-dimensional), basic trigonometry, algebraic functions, elementary statistics, and some miscellaneous topics. The test is developed with the expectation that most students are using graphing calculators so a scientific or graphing calculator is required. The Math Level IC test is an hour long and has 50 multiple-choice questions. A calculator is required for the Math Level IC test.
