ProcessWelcome Fellow Scientists! I hope you are ready to begin your journey into cells. This project should demonstrate your complete understanding of plant and animal cells along with how they function. STEP ONE: Create a group of four students. Remember that you will each have an individual goal but come together at the end for a GROUP presentation. STEP TWO: Divide your group into roles. Role one should be a person that is artistic since this person will be creating the visual portion of the assignment. Role Two will be responsible for creating a Venn diagram of a plant and animal cell. Role three and four should be the group's best writers. These two students will have to collect data about each function of a cell and compare the function to the people in your school. STEP THREE: Once roles have been assigned, visit the homepage and click on your role for greater detail on your assignment. STEP FOUR: Visit the following sites to help gather data and the library pathfinder. http://projects.edtech.sandi.net/miramesa/Organelles/animal.html ht tp://projects.edtech.sandi.net/miramesa/Organelles/plant.html http://www.users .nac.net/gencat/orgdiagram.htm> STEP FIVE: Now that you have gathered the needed information to complete each role, revisit your role page to check for detailed instruction. |
