How many books can a student borrow ?

Students in Kindergarten, Grade One and Grade Two may borrow one book for 
one week. Students in Grade Two have the option of borrowing one magazine 
instead of one book.

What happens if a student forgets to return a book?

If a student forgets to return a book on the due date, that student 
may not borrow another book until the overdue item is returned, and only 
during library class time.

Will a student be notified if a book is overdue?

The student will receive an overdue book notice starting with the day the 
book is overdue and continuing weekly.

Will we have to pay for a lost book?

If a student receives four overdue book notices and the book still is 
not returned, the student will then be given a bill for the book.

Once a lost book is paid for can the student borrow again?

As soon as we receive payment for a lost item, the student's 
borrowing privileges are restored.

We found a lost book that we paid for! Can we get our money back?

If the lost item is in good condition and can be returned to 
circulation, and is returned before the beginning of the school year 
following the one in which the book was lost, we will refund your money when 
the item is returned to us.
