| Later in the year,Second Graders will learn about the many different versions
of the Cinderella story. We will learn about what makes fairy tales unique and
special, and we will discuss what we know about the traditional Cinderella
story. We will learn about "fractured" fairy tales, and will read several,
including Bubba the Cowboy Prince and Bigfoot Cinderella. Using "T" charts and
Venn diagrams, we will compare and contrast the various versions of
Cinderella that we have read. We will also make outlines of our own Cinderella
stories for sharing with our class. | |
