How are the funds used that are raised by the PTO?

For a complete listing of how we support the students, teachers and schools
please reference the PTO year in review. It can be found on the News and
Events page of this web site. A few examples follow: The PTO funds most
school fieldtrips, in whole or part, as well as the transportation to those
fieldtrips (i.e.;Lowell Historical Center,
Nature's Classroom). Additional funds are distributed to
various classrooms for subscriptions such as "Time for Kids", "Super Science"
& Weekly Reader and more. The PTO also
allocates funds for playground equipment, library materials, Family Math
Challenge and more.
