Students learned about different
types of lines when creating
colorful paste papers. Various
texture tools were used to scrape
the lines into the fresh colors
applied to their papers.

Once the paintings were dry we
looked at the self portraits by
artist Vincent Van Gogh.
Students saw how Van Gogh also
used texture and lines in his
paintings.
