Findin My Place Students began the year by
discussing portraits. We
described how a portrait is a
good way to describe a person.
We then shifted our attention to
an artwork by Van Gogh that just
showed a pair of shoes. Students
discovered that by looking at
these shoes they were actually
able to tell a lot about the
person who wore them. Shoes
could describe a person almost as
much as a portrait! |
