Hi everyone. Welcome to the AC Whelan Elementary School Library web page. My
name is Katie Cerasale-Messina and this will be my 3rd year as Library Media
Specialist at the Whelan. Prior to coming to Revere, I worked at the Museum
of Science Library and the Brown School Library in Peabody. Currently I serve
as the Northeast Co-Director Chair for MSLA.

The mission of the AC Whelan Elementary and Susan B. Anthony Middle School
Library is to support the
Mission Statements of both schools and the district. This year the goals of
the Library are:
*To maintain a web presence so students have access to Library
Resources away from school- this includes a web site and blog
*To continue to develop the Library's print collection
*To develop a collection of online resources, such as database subscriptions
and ebooks
*To collaborate with other classrooms on special projects
