Students should know their basic addition and subtraction math facts to 20. This will help them as math becomes more difficult.
When answering reading comprehension questions, it is important that your child go back into the reading, locate the correct answer, underline and number it, then go back and select the correct answer.
Studying 5 spelling words each night may be more manageable then studying all 20.
Any written homework assignments should be proofread before coming back to school.
To help your child with organizational skills, have them put their completed homework in their folder and immediately put it in their backpack.
Have your child clean out his homework folder often.
Please provide your student with a snack. Snack time is at 10:30.
As the winter months approach, it is important that your child dress for the weather.
