Position:
BCBA Teacher
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
This position teaches students on the autism spectrum in an elementary setting. The ideal candidate would have experience in working with ABA strategies and knowing behavioral techniques. Also the position requires interaction and supervision of teaching assistants and working with support staff. Finally the person must be familiar with IEP’s, including goals and benchmarks.
Additional responsibilities include:
-staff supervision and training as part of an ongoing ABA program
-consultation and collaboration with special education teachers and therapists as part of an ongoing ABA program
-program writing, ongoing data analysis, assessment
-ability to function both autonomously and collaboratively to the educational program goals
Job Requirements:
At least two years experience preferred; Masters Degree preferred/citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
Position type/ work year: full time through end of school year 6/2012
Salary: per Rockport Public School Teacher contract
