MIDDLE /HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

The Rockport Public Schools invite outstanding educational leaders to apply for the position of the Rockport Middle/High School Principal. Rockport is a beautiful seaside community located north of Boston on the tip of Cape Ann, rich in historical and cultural traditions. Rockport Middle/High School has a grade 6-12 enrollment of 577 students.

The Successful candidate will demonstrate: a commitment to educational excellence; the ability to motivate and inspire; strong curriculum, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and parents; previous middle/high school teaching and administrative experience; and Massachusetts Secondary Principal Certification.

Salary range is: $100,000 - $110,000

Start date: July 1, 2010

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED

School Bus Driver License required

Salary: $15.35 per hour, 25 hours per week

Benefits package including HMO Blue Health

Work year: Student school days until end of school year.
