On a professional ground:
I graduated from Wheelock College with an undergraduate degree
in Early Childhood Education/Human Development and a graduate
degree in Special Needs. I am certified by the Massachusetts
Department of Education in the following areas: Special Needs (Pre K-9),
Elementary, Early Childhood (Pre K-3), and Bilingual Education ( Pre K-9.)
I have 17 years of teaching experience and have taught various grade
levels. I love teaching kindergarten!
On a personal ground:
I have a son named Evan who is ten years old. I also have a daughter
named Camila who is eight years old. They are also Runkle students!
My husband Josh is also a teacher. He is the Math Department head
at Brookline High.
My hobbies include reading to my children, hiking and skiing in Vermont,
knitting, running, playing the guitar and watching the
Red Sox play.
My goals for the children involve meeting their physical, social, and
emotional needs within an environment, which encourages optimum
intellectual and social development and fosters a passion for learning.
It is my hope to establish a partnership with parents so that together
we could accomplish these goals.
