Chinese 2:30-3:30 (K-5)

The Chinese enrichment program will let kids have a delicious "taste" of the Chinese language and its culture. Language topics will cover self-introduction, greetings, numbers, colors, food, fruit, vegetables, animals, weather, time, dates, school, sports, and more. Cultural varieties will include Chinese holidays, traditions, music, songs, operas, paintings, calligraphy, riddles, folktales, and poems. Students will experience Chinese through the unique instructional approach offered by 'Little Polyglots.' A wide variety of activities makes language practice enjoyable and stimulates as many senses as possible so students with different learning styles can master Chinese successfully. Each student receives a workbook to help practice language learning during the week and reinforce vocabulary and pronunciation at home.
