Back by popular demand. Ms. Schultz and Ms. Birden are offering this class inspired by the "constructivist" theories of Jean Piaget who asserts that knowledge is not simply transmitted from teacher to student, but actively constructed by the mind of the learner. Children don't get ideas; they make them! This class will consist of free form of building and exploration with sets, or students can take the opportunity to pick a "challenge" card and build from there. Students will work alone and with partners to design their new projects!

Class meets: Sep. 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Nov. 5, 19.

$75 for eight-week session (includes materials fee)
