Papier Mache Art

Papier Mache Art: 2:10-3:10 (3 - 5)

This class is for students who would like to get down and dirty creating Papier Mache Sculptures. We will make our own paste, learn how to make armatures and begin the sculpting process. The projects will include making a wearable mask and an animal sculpture. We will also use paint and found materials such as feathers and buttons and beads to finish our creations. (This class will use flour and would not be suitable for any child with wheat allergies.)

Instructor of this class is Kim Goldstein, Artist, Educator and Runkle Parent.

Class meets: Apr 30; May 7, 14, 21, 28; Jun 4, 11. $60 for seven-week session
