Inventor MentorThursday
Inventor’s Workshop: 2:30-4:00 (3 - 5)
In this ten-week class Terry Murray, the Inventor Mentor, will guide students through the invention process; from generating ideas to designing and building inventions. We will explore kids ideas for launching inventions, then build them including air rockets, gliders, soda bottle rockets, and parachutes with cameras. We will explore how to invent, and let the kids be the inventors. Other projects include take apart electronics, hovercrafts, and remote vehicles with launchers. As an accomplished MIT trained inventor and mechanical engineer with 25 years of experience, Terry Murray brings the experience of the real world into the exciting realm of kid invention. Terry Murray has been teaching enrichment classes for 8 years.
