Chess I:    2:30-3:30  (Beginners)   Limited to 12

Learn to play chess! The instructor Igor Foygel is an International Master of Chess and a 5 times Massachusetts Champion. He is one of the top 50 chess players in the United States and has over 30 years of experience teaching chess to people of all ages, from beginners to Grand Masters.  At the end of this session students will be able to compare their abilities at a tournament.  Chess I and Chess II are open to grades 1-8.  Chess I is for beginners and is generally geared to grades 1-3.  Chess II is for intermediates and is generally geared to grades 4-8.  Students must have the permission of the instructor to join Chess II.
