Fishing:   2:30-4:30 (3 and up)     Limited to 10

 

The Fishing Academy brings kids into the outdoors, teaching them about fishing and the environment.  The instruction consists of knot tying, casting, bait and lure selection, bite simulation and games.  After initial classroom lessons, students will travel to local water to test their new skills. The Fishing Academy is run by John Hoffman and three time Massachusetts Angler of the Year Roy Leyva.

 

Class meets: Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27; Nov. 10, 17.

$135 for six-week 2 hours sessions (includes transportation, equipment, bait, instruction and photos)
