I hope everyone had a great Halloween! We had a lot of fun on Friday during our school party and parade. Thank you to all parents who helped make it a success!!
Last week in Lang. Arts, we learned about the letter Bb. We read the book, Miss Bindergarten gets Ready for Kindergarten. We also read books about bats and bears. We made a book of Bb words in the shape of a bear. We made our own class book after reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? We wrote a sentence in our journals about a bunny. We also continued to work on color words and rhyming.
In Math, we continued learning about position words. We discussed: in front, behind, before, after, left, right, and between. We sang the Hokey Pokey to practice left and right and used manipulatives to show before, after, and between.
In Religion, we learned about the Saints. We read about St. Peter, St. Joseph, and St. Patrick. We learned about Ordinary Time in the Church Year.
Other activities included many Halloween and Fall activities. We learned Halloween poems and made bats. We read many Halloween stories.
