What if my child says he/she is bored in Second Grade?

Your child should never be bored in second grade!!! They have many, many
things to work on throughout the school day including the opportunities to
work on reading, language arts, writing, math, religion, science and social
studies. They also have an unfinished work folder they check regularly
throughout the day!!!

What if there is a change in my child's daily transportation?

If for any reason your child has a change in their daiy schedule a note must
be sent in telling us that there is a change or call Mrs. Feeney and let her
know of any change and she'll make sure she let's me know. If there's no
note or a phone call I will send your child by way of their assigned

How much guidance shall I provide for my child's spelling sentences?

Your child should do his/her written work. You may guide them if needed.
For example making sure they understand the directions and the meaning of
the word/s their using in their sentence/s. I conference with them in the
morning and we go over all the written work. Please do not correct any
mispelled words, grammar or punctuation.
