Dear Parents,
Halloween has come and gone...but now I can tell we've all been eating
candy...myself included. Between excess sugar and daylight savings, this week
may be a bit off schedule.
Some fun things this week include a visit from a Pilgrim AND Ben Franklin.
Then on Friday, we'll entertain our grandparents with a couple of songs.
Once again, the Banana Buck shopping box is running low! Donations are
being accepted now. A special thank you goes out to recent contributions!
I'm still in need of SCRAP YARN for a God's Eye project in Religion. If
any knitters out there would like to make a donation, we'll have some
beautiful God's Eyes to bring home! Thank you for recent donations and I'm
hoping for a little bit more.
Our weekly 'Baggie Books' & 'Book Reports' are working out nicely. Please
continue to read with your child and do some 'thinking' about what is special
or interesting about the book.
Thank you for taking the time to pack snacks and lunches in seperate
containers EVERYDAY. It helps to keep our morning routine simple - seperate
containers for snack and lunch. Thanks!
Next Wednesday there will be no school as it is Veteran's Day.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Murphy
