Dear Parents,

 Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Cappello, and I want to thank Karen Duffy for organizing our Halloween party. We also want to thank all the moms who helped with all the party supplies and treats. The had a fun time.For all of you who came to the parade We know your children were happy that you wre there.

With Halloween behind us, we are now moving on to Thanksgiving. We will focus on the fact that Thanksgiving is a day set aside to thank God for all His gifts to us. The chidren will also learn about the Pilgrims, and their friendship with the Native Americans. We will talk about the Pilgrims trip across the ocean on the Mayflower. Our class will celebrate a special "feast" the day before Thanksgiving. We call it Bread Day. A note will go home next week with all the details.

This is F week. As always the children will engage in many activities such as tracing, cutting, reading stories ,etc. to help them recognize the letter sound. They also learn how to write the letter.

We do so much more each day. This is just a brief summary of our learning experiences. Please check your child's backpack each day to find out what we have been learning.
