Our Class Rules

 

1.        We will treat others the way we want to be treated.

2.      We will be good listeners and follow directions.

3.      We will work quietly and not disturb others.

4.      We will share and take turns.

5.      We will raise our hands to speak.

6.      We will come to class prepared to learn.

 

 

Consequences

ü    If a child does not follow the rules, I will give him or her a friendly reminder and say,

“STOP, THINK, DO THE RIGHT THING.” 

ü    I will give a child a second friendly reminder and repeat,   

Examples of consequences

The child is moved on the rug or at his/her desk.	The child is given a time out.
The child loses some portion or all of recess.	The child is given a reflection sheet (for bullying, using hands against someone or calling names.
