Homework

Homework will be assigned on Mondays and Wednesdays. The children have two days to complete their assignments. As we discussed at Back-to-School Night, I would like you to check, correct and sign every homework assignment. Make sure each assignment is complete by checking the HW Planner. If your child is having difficulty with an assignment, send me an email or a note to school, and I will check in with your child the next day.

 

Monday, 11/9/09

ü      Show Mom or Dad your spelling log.  Have Mom or Dad sign it.

ü      Copy your spelling words in your HW Planner.  Bring the spelling sheet back to school tomorrow.

ü      Do the spelling HW sheet – due Thursday

ü      Practice the November math facts.

ü      Read for 20 minutes.

ü      Bring back your HW Planner, HW folder, Spelling Log and spelling sheet.

 

 

Tuesday, 11/10/09

ü      Do the spelling HW sheet – due Thursday or practice the spelling words on SpellingCity.com.

ü      Show the Doubles Chant to Mom or Dad.

ü      Practice the November math facts.

ü      Read for 20 minutes.

ü      Bring back your HW Planner, HW folder, Spelling Log and spelling sheet.

 

Thursday, 11/12/09

ü      Take a practice spelling text tonight.

ü      Practice the November math facts.

ü      Read for 20 minutes.

 

Friday, 11/13/09

ü      Read for 20 minutes tonight, Saturday and Sunday.

ü      Practice the November math facts.

ü      Have fun on the weekend with your family and friends.
