My most important request for homework in kindergarten is that you
PLEASE try to read to/with your child EVERY NIGHT ! This helps build their
language experiences, increases their vocabulary and models a wonderful
activity for them and you.
A homework packet will come home weekly. These packets go along with
the Scott Foresman stories we are reading in the classroom. This homework
should not take longer then ten minutes per day. We have found this to be a
tremendous benefit to your child as it reinforces what they are learning in
the classroom. Thank you for your support on this.
