Coming Events & RemindersHOLIDAY CONCERT DECEMBER 16th at 9:15 AM : The concert will feature the Strings (grades 3-5), the 5th grade chorus and the Band (grades 4&5) in that order. Parents and students in grades K-2 are welcome to come to the 9:15 concert. There will be another concert at 10:15 for the students in grades 3-5. PLEASE HAVE YOUR 5th GRADERS WEAR BLACK BOTTOMS AND WHITE TOPS ON CONCERT DAY. Thank You parents for your support!
GRADE 3 STUDENTS PLAYING RECORDERS & PREPARING FOR VISIT FROM PARENTS! : 3rd graders are playing recorders during music class. PLEASE REMIND YOURGRADE 3 STUDENTS TO BRING THEIR RECORDERS TO SCHOOL ON MUSIC DAYS if they take them home. If students already have recorders at home, they can keep one in music class so it is always available! See the link to buying instruments on the home page if you would like to have this option. Parents of 3rd graders are invited to see their child perform in music class! (Dates Pending). GRADE 4 COMPOSITION PROJECT: This year's 4th graders will compose and record their own music by the end of this school year! Those recordings will be available for listening and downloading on this website! Click on the links above to visit the pages for last year's 4th grade music class recordings where you can also download the music files from last year's composition project. These are WMA files which can be played on any windows computer using Windows Media Player or any Apple computer using iTunes. From either of these programs you can add the files to any MP3 player. YOU CAN ALSO PUT THEM ON YOUR I POD! Open your I Tunes software and drag & drop the files into your I Tunes Library. |
