Halloween has passed and it is time to look foward to Thanksgiving!!
In November the third grade will be very busy!
In Social Studies this month students are learning about the Piglrims and
Wompanog Indians. They will understand what it was like to live during this
time period, why the colonists want to come to America, and what travelling
on the Mayflower was like. Then on November 19th we will go to Plimoth
Plantation on a field trip to expereince life as Pligrims.
In Math we will begin multiplication! This is a main focus for third grade
and students will work hard to memorize their mulitplication facts. Students
will learn one fact family a week.
There are so many exciting things happening in November! I can't wait!
