The first month of school is over and the students seem to be settling in
very well to the routine on middle school. During September in language
arts, we worked mostly on grammar and constructing good sentences. Now we
are going to study writing skills and do some composition work.
We have been studying the Creation and our place in it and our relationship
with God. Now we will turn our attention to the patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac,
Jacob, etc – to learn how the Hebrews came to be God’s chosen people and the
coming of Jesus is foretold.
