I hope you have a very happy and safe summer.  On a hot summer’s day 
when you sit poolside or at the beach or outside on a cool evening, 
remember your summer reading assignment.  


Students in grades  6, 7, and 8 are required to read two books from 
your reading list.  The book with the “*” you must read.  You are to 
choose one other text from your grade’s list below. No abridged 
versions will be accepted as books read.  These books may be obtained 
at your local library or in a book store.

I will give you worksheets for your reports sometime during the first 
week of school in August.
