BORGES THE MUSIC TEACHER.</div><div> </div><div><br />4/24 <br />KINDERGARTEN DOES NOT HAVE SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, MAY 4, 2012 (I HAVE SCREENING FOR NEXT YEAR'S KINDERGARTEN CLASS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.<br /><br />4/23 Monday<br />Kindergarten Graduation will be on Friday, June 8th from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.<br />More details will follow.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />12/6<br /><br />Also, homework ( 1 sheet ) is due on the Monday of every week.<br />In regards to the reading sheets the sheet should be filled every month. There are only 20 lines and we would love for the children to be read to as well as later this year learning how to read to you. <br /><br /><br />Could you please send in the word lists on Fridays. We will only test them once a week.<br /><br />What we're doing:<br /><br />Reading - <br />- Genre: Animal Fantasy<br />- Phonemic Awareness /Phonics - Rhyme/Letter Naming -Vowel a Comprehension - Cause and Effect VOWELS<br />- Leveled Reader Story - <br />Sight Words - List 4<br /><br />Handwriting - The children are giving me a sentence everyday for the white board. We are going in alphabetical order.<br /><br />Math - Ch 9 Money- Check Math papers daily. <br /><br />Religion<br />-Prayers Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be<br /><br />-Ch. 7 Ordinary Time<br />- Promise Booklet<br />- Church every Monday<br /><br />Social Studies<br />- Unit 2 A Big Wide World<br /><br />- Weekly Reader - April - Spring, Ocean Animals, Poetry, Earth Day<br /><br />Science<br />- Ch. 3 Plants<br /> <br /> <br /><br />Centers<br /><br />- Blocks<br />- Puzzles<br />- Books<br />- Legos<br />- White Boards<br />- Handwriting (Journal Drawing)<br />Fun Friday Centers -Play Dooh (only on Fridays)<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> </div>
