MONDAY, DECEMBER 21
It is official! Both fifth grade classes voted to adopt an endangered
specie from WWF. The koala was selected by 5B, and the African wild dog
was chosen by 5A. Each student will contributed $3 for the adoptions.
If possible, I would like you to bring your contribution by Wednesday.

MATH - Test tomorrow.
Mutliplication of decimals with estimation.
Please study the practice review for the test, previous homework, and
the study guides. Study the clue words.
SCIENCE - Endangered species
Finish writing and typing your topics.
Work on the bibliography, all about the author, dedication, and
introduction. By Wednesday, everything should be completed.
Make sure you proofread carefully and use spell check and grammar
check.Mr. Deveney wants to read every book.
The due date is January 8, but you can give it to me sooner.
This is the last written project in science.
READING BUDDIES - Wednesday
Please do not get a gift for your buddy. Your card is your gift.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22
SCIENCE - Continue working on your endangered specie books.
Make sure each page has a picture to reflect the topic.
You have been taught how to make the table of contents. This is
done last after you have downloaded all your pictures and have
very carefully edited your pages. Use your checklist to put all the
pages in the correct order. Then when you type the table of contents,
all the pages will be in the correct sequence.
If you don't want to print a second copy, you can go to
the library or Staples and make a copy of your book.
