Virtue of the Month
Continuing our school mission to foster the development of Christian life habits, we chose KINDNESS and PERSEVERANCE as the virtues for March and April. The students were given examples of what Kindness and Perseverance sounds like and looks like and were asked to practice this virtue. VIRTUS ~ Protecting God's Children
This training is a free, one-time, 2 to 2.5 hour commitment that is REQUIRED if you intend on being a volunteer @ SMS. A school volunteer includes but is not limited to those who:
Ø Coach Sports, Ø Help with Lunch (school kitchen or classroom), Ø Chaperone field trips, Ø Volunteer at any school functions such as field day, holiday events, etc.
Upon completion of your VIRTUS Training, please be certain that you send a copy of your training certificate to the SMS ~ Main Office.
