God is good!

We are in the final semester of the 2011 – 2012 school year. We applaud the efforts of all our students who strive each day to be their best. As we continue to encourage and support our young learners, let us continue to work together – school and home to foster the development of good learning habits.

As a Catholic school, St. Margaret School supports and encourages parents in the faith development of their child (ren). On May 20th, many of our Grade Two children will receive the Sacrament of Eucharist. Through the guidance and generosity of our Parish's Blessed Virgin Sodality our Grade 5-6-7 Grade students have an opportunity to look at their own faith development and to acknowledge the role of their parents and teachers in their faith formation. They have been invited to write an essay: How have you received you Faith and how has it been nurtured by others? What is your experience of how you practice your Faith and how it has grown with the help of your parents/family, your Church community, your School community, your friends? One student in each class will earn a $300.00 tuition scholarship awarded by the Sodality.

And we continue to encourage all families to participate each Sunday in our worship at the 9:00 Family Mass at St. Margaret Church.

If you have not yet “checked out” the links to learning resources available on our St. Margaret School and our St. Margaret Parish websites, take a look – it is simply a “click” on the side menu to the left. There are multiple resources on the website – video and audio to allow us to know more about curriculum resources and our Church.

We welcome parents and others as volunteers. Please check with the main office for CORI forms and dates for Virtus Training sessions. There is a link to St. Margaret Parish's website listing dates and times that Virtus training schedules are planned in Greater Lowell Parishes. Virtus Training sessions are open to all who register. Registration is important for the planning of space and materials for these sessions.
