Homework Policy: Students will be assigned about 20 minutes of homework Monday through Thursday. However, if we do not have school on a weekday, due to a holiday or professional development, students will not be assigned homework the night before. In addition to assigned homework, second grade students should be reading 15-20 minutes per night. We ask that you please check your child's binder and agenda book for assignments each night. Homework Suggestions: 1. Please check that your child has put his/her name on their paper. 2. Check for your child's best work. 3. Find a quiet spot for your child to do his/her homework. 4. When your child is asked to do a "Star of the Week" paper, please be sure they include their name and a colored picture.
