How do we celebrate birthdays in room 305?
On the day of your child's birthday, he/she will have the birthday bear at his/her desk for the day. The birthday student may also pick a book from the birthday box, which will be added to the class library. If your child's birthday falls on Saturday or Sunday, we will celebrate his/her birthday on Friday or Monday.Back to Top
How do we celebrate summer birthdays?
At the end of May, I will contact you about planning a date to celebrate your child's birthday. Depending on the number of students with summer birthdays, we will usually celebrate them in June.Back to Top
How do we purchase lunch tickets?
If your child is planning on purchasing lunch tickets, please send the money in on Monday morning. Make sure the money is in an envelope with both your child's name and my name on it.Back to Top
How can parents help in the classroom?
There will be many opportunities throughout the year. I will need daily center volunteers and reading volunteers. If you can't commit to a weekly schedule, there will be many opportunities throughout the year to help with parties, class projects and field trips.Back to Top
