Bruce Homstead, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Nutritionist Bruce has been 
working in the field for over 22 years and works with a variety of 
individuals including those with ADD, ADHD, and ASD. He has a private 
practice in Easthampton called Homestead Health. He will be joining us for 
our parent group to discuss specialty diets and ASD. We will get a more in 
depth understanding of gluten and how if effects the digestive system.

“I have had a life-long passion for food - how to make it, serve it, 
understand it and use it to maintain optimum health. I work with individuals 
who are challenged with health conditions including celiac disease, diabetes, 
heart disease and other disorders. I consult and work with schools, 
retirement communities (assisted living, nursing homes) and others who need 
to respond to the growing population of individuals who face specific 
nutritional challenges, food allergies and other nutritional needs.” ~Bruce

•	Bruce also runs the Western Massachusetts Celiac and Gluten Free 
Support Group at the Northampton Big Y. His next meeting is Wednesday the 
22nd at 7:00pm and it is free and open to the public. He encourages our group 
to attend!
