Homework is given Monday through Thursday. Students should expect 30-45
minutes of homework each night.Usually, there is 20 minutes of reading, and a
short 15-20 minute math assignment.
Generally homework is used as practice of the lesson taught during the day.
It is important that students complete each assignment, and return it to
school the next day. This allows me to check for their understanding of the
skills taught. *Please note that three missed homework within one term will
result in a before or afterschool detention.
I encourage parents to help students with their homework, but it is important
that I see the struggles your child is having. I ask that you simply circle
the number that your child had difficulty with. Otherwise, homework comes
back with no errors, and I am under the assumption that students understood
the topic!
