Welcome to our class! I hope you find our website helpful, and informative!
A little about myself:
This is my sixth year teaching. I taught fourth grade
in Springfield for two years, until I took a job in Chicopee, teaching Math
and Computers. A few years ago I moved back into fourth grade, and I love it.
I graduated from Westfield State College with a Bachelor's degree in
Elementary Education and Liberal Studies. I went back there and earned
my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Reading
Instruction.I plan to continue on to earn a degree in School Administration
at some point in the near future.
I currently teach a couple college classes at Elms College as part of their
adjunct faculty.
I enjoy reading,and spending time with family and friends. Most of my time is
spent playing with our one year old daughter, Clara.
I truly enjoy teaching, and I look forward to greeting my students each
morning.
My goal for this year is to help every child reach his or her potential, and
to make progress in all areas. I hope to inspire a love of learning, and to
promote an environment that allows students the comfort to learn.
