Is it O.K. to send cake in for my child's birthday?

I would prefer cupcakes or cookies. It is much easier to serve quickly,
makes less mess, and there is no need for knives, plates, or forks. This
will only be allowed on specified Birthday Celebrations Day once a month.

Can my child bring flavored water in the water bottle?

Absolutely not! Having water bottles is a privelage and will be taken away
if the rule is not strictly followed. We do not want to attract ants if
there is a spill.

Is it a good idea to purchase books from Scholastic Book order forms?

In my opinion, yes! Many of the books are usually discounted, and they are
geared for your child's reading level. It's a great way to encourage
children to read by letting them choose their own reading material.

How often will book order forms come home?

I try to send them home once a month. If ever you'd like to purchase books
as a gift for your child, please jot me a quick note along with your order
and I will contact you by phone when the order arrives.

Can parents come in to help out in the class?

Absolutely! I have an open door policy and welcome as much help as
possible. Parents can listen to children read, read to children, assist

center activities and classroom parties etc. Just let me know when you are
available.
