Homework Policy: All homework should be done carefully and neatly. Name
and number should be written at the top of each paper. Parents are asked to
check for accuracy and sign each homework assignment before it is sent to
school. Homework is an extension of the lessons taught in class.
Monday- Write your spelling words 4 times each. - Remember neatness counts.
Tuesday- Math practice
Wednesday- Grammar or Comprehension Practice
Thursday- Math Practice
*In addition to each homework assignment, children should study spelling
words for 5 minutes each night, study math facts for 5 minutes and read for
at least 10 minutes out loud to an adult.
*Written homework should not be taking your child more than 10 minutes to
complete; a total of 30 minutes including reading and study time.
