1. How do you choose books for the library collection?

How do you choose books for the library collection?

I primarily use the professional library journal "School Library Journal", 
and choose recommended titles in a mix of both fiction and non-fiction.  It 
is important that the collection reflect the age of the students, and 
enhance the curriculum as well. Of course, I DO have my favorite authors and 
titles, and in any spare time, you'll find me reading children's fiction!
