Where do I find appropriate homework help for my child?
Please take a look at my Links page. There you will find various student appropriate websites, including homework help sites. I have reviewed all of them and feel that they are the most kid/user friendly.Back to Top
What is the easiest way to get in contact with you?
I am open to various ways of communication. I check my e-mail frequently throughout the day, and try to respond promptly. You can also call the school, or write a note in your child's agenda, which I look at daily.Back to Top
Should I help my child with their homework?
I encourage parents to look over their child's homework. You should allow them to work on their own, but clarify directions or words as needed. You should avoid holding their hand through each assignment, but if your child is struggling with the work, help is ok!Back to Top

What is the importance of an agenda?
I spend all year preparing students for middle school by teaching them how to be organized. The agenda is a large part of this, and they will be expected to keep one in middle school. I also insist parents sign their child's agenda nightly as a way of keeping you informed about homework and any concerns that I may have written down.Back to Top
How will the MCAS affect my child this year?
Fourth grade takes three different MCAS sessions. The first is a long composition, which will take place for one day in March. The other two sessions are Reading/Language (3 sessions), and Math (2 sessions) which happen in May. We spend a lot of time preparing students for these tests, and as the year progresses, you will see various types of MCAS questions come home as homework.Back to Top
What happens if my child forgets their homework?
Students who do not complete their homework by the assigned date will stay in for recess that day until the work is completed. If this occurs three times in a week, your child will be kept in for the full recess for a detention.Back to Top
